He is survived by: his children, Joseph Doppelhauer (Lisa) of Ruffsdale, Kathy Hoover (Mark) of Greensburg and John Doppelhauer of Greensburg; and his sisters, Jenny Lee Johnson of El Paso and Carolyn Myers of Leesburg, Fla.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
