He is survived by: his parent Margaret Dean (Baker) of Southwest; his spouse Bertha "Berte" Lorraine Hawk of Youngwood; his children, Bruce Dean (Barbara) of Greensburg, Elaine Cavallo of Slickville and Terry Dean (Vicky) of Lynchburg; and his grandchildren, Timothy Cavallo (Brandy), Matthew Cavallo (Brandi), Susan Dean Huff (David), Michelle Dean and Nathan Dean.

In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
