He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ruffner and Irene Ritenour Ruffner; his sisters, Grace Seanor (Bill), Goldie Durco (John) and Catherine Neal (Wayne); and his nephew Dan Zilli.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Adams Ruffner; his son William "Bill" Ruffner III (Dawn Macon Ruffner) of Marietta; his grandson William "Bo" Ruffner IV; his daughter-in-law Brittnee Shaffer Ruffner; and his nieces and nephews, Terri Zilli Fontanazza (Steve Fontanazza), John Zilli, David Zilli, Tom Zilli, John Durco Jr., Jeff Neal, Susan Bennett, Joanna Doyle, Kitty Comisak and Kitty Shield.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. (409 W Pittsburgh St, Greensburg, PA 15601).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clelian Heights School for Exceptional Children, 135 Clelian Heights Lane, Greensburg, PA 15601.
