He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold H. Sodergren and Alice W. Sodergren (Holmquist); his grandparents, Waldo and Gerda Holmquist; and his grandson Matthew.
He is survived by: his father-in-law Elvin; his wife Mary of Gainesville, VA; his children, Jeffrey (Rebecca) of Mountain Top, PA, Janine Shurmer (Bryn), Saskatchewan and Julie Forrest (Charles) of Manassas Park, VA.; his grandchildren, Elijah, Mary, Caroline, Andy, Isaiah, Anna, Beth and Judah; his brothers, Ron (Patty) and Russell Ericson; and his nephew Michael Ericson.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Main Presbyterian Church (120 E Main St, Grove City, PA 16127).
