He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank William and Carrie Isabelle Carlson (Whyte); his wife Jeanne "Jean" Richardson; and his son Bradley. He is survived by : his children, Colleen Miller, Sandy Hesidenz (Jeff) and Russ Carlson; his grandchildren, Darcie Ross, Chelsea Lisk (Craig), Tessa Semple-Byers (D'Andre) and Cody Ross (Sara); his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Jaxson, Lawson, Colton and Ethan; his sister Betty Thornton (Dwayne); and his sister-in-law Jeanne Richardson.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cunningham Funeral Home (306 Bessemer Ave, Grove City, PA 16127). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
