He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Filer and Helen Filer (Nicklin); his mother-in-law Margaret T. "Marge" McConnell; his daughters, Robin Uber and Vicki L. McNeish; and his siblings, Shirley Mariacher, Norma Small and Dennis Filer. He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
