We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2020, at the age of 84, Jean Showak Slencak of Grove City, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Showak and Eva Schlahta Showak; her husband Irvin Steven Slencak; her siblings, Ellen Gryback, Carolyn Cehily, Dolores Renfrew, John, George and Walter Showak; and her grandson Bleaud DeMarion.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Slencak of Canonsburg, PA, Michele DeMarion of Grove City, PA, Joyce Costello (Mark), Jennifer Prappas (Jim) of League City, TX and Chad Slencak (Sharon) of Pittsburgh, PA.; her grandsons, Destin DeMarion (Meghan), Wyatt, Radek and Theo Prappas; her great grandchild Eva DeMarion; her sisters, Irene Orwig (David) of Killeen, TX and Carol "Margie" Czwalga of Harwick, PA; and her parents-in-law, Ed Slencak (Jane) of Springdale, PA, Roy Renfrew of Saxonburg, PA and Arlene Showak. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
