He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley Davis Gray; his grandfather Joe; his great grandchild Jacqueline Gray of St. Louis; his children, James Benton Lackey III of Tacoma and Dr. Joanna Lackey; his grandchildren, Carlie and Eleanor Werner; his children, Pamela Gray Killion, Emerson Killion of Thornton, Joseph Killion of Huntington Beach, California. and Patricia Gray; his granddaughter Alicia McGill; his great grandchildren, Rivers and Harlow Bluska; and also, David Joseph Gray (Claudia Morris Gray), Caleb Joseph (Rebecca McClure McGill), Laken and Cali McGill. He was also cherished by four children, six grandchildren.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Grove City Area Historical Society & Museum.
