It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lawrence Edward Smith of Grove City, Pennsylvania, born in Zion, Illinois, who passed away on August 3, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Smith and Mary E. Smith (Watson); his wife Dorothy McElhattan; his brothers, George W. Smith Jr. and David Smith; and his sister-in-law Linda Smith.

He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Adamski (Stanley) of Valencia, Susan Killian (Thomas) of Grove City and Lori Coup (Douglas) of Downingtown; his grandchildren, Chris Adamski (Meghan) of Mt. Lebanon, Brad Adamski (Lindsey) of Bethel Park, Taryn Klein (Ryan) of Bellevue, Kelly Jones (Andy) of South Park, Ryan Killian (Natasha) of MacComb, MI, Shane Killian (Amy) of Forest Hills, David Coup of Downington and Jessica Coup of Downington; his great grandchildren, Madison, Riley Adamski, Quinn, Cameron, Owen, Luke Adamski, Mason, Adalynn Klein, Ashton, Bricen Jones, Aubrey Killian and Zeke Killian; his brother Albert Smith of Las Vegas, NV; and his sister-in-law Leanora Smith of Franklin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
