He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank DiCola and Carmella "Millie" DiCola (Cicchini); and his brother Ronald L. DiCola. He is survived by: his wife Connie DiCola (Lavery); and his children, Damian DiCola (Stacy), Amanda Patrick and Tamra Piedra. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
