It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet E. Smith of Guys Mills, Pennsylvania, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Virtue and Evelyn Richardson Virtue; her son David B. Smith; and her brother James Virtue. She is survived by : her daughters, Maryjane Smith of Cottonwood, AZ and Barbara Barker (Jesse) of Meadville; and her granddaughters, Hanna Jordan of Tacoma, WA and Jillian Barker of Meadville. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to the present Covid-19 pandemic, private burial will be in Blooming Valley Cemetery with a public memorial service at a later date.
