Russell Merle Waid Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Merle Waid of Guys Mills, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 17, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Russell Waid and Marian Helen Waid; and his siblings, Leverette, Norman, Alec, Howard, Charles and Addie.
He is survived by : his brother David; his wife Ruth Ann; and his sons, Rick Waid (Kevin Steele) and Rob Waid (Cathy Waid). He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Russel's life will be held privately (due to Covid) for the family on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm Easter Standard Time at First Congregational UCC of Sarasota, Florida and will be live streamed for family and friends near and far on the church's Facebook page.
