We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2025, Richard Fairfax of Hampden Township, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene A. Fairfax and Stella Fairfax; and his siblings, Mario Baylor and Emily Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Meacie Inez Fairfax (Hughes); his daughters, Maria Fairfax, Gena Fairfax-Hudson (Brian), Tonya Fairfax of Harrisburg and Meacie E. Fairfax (Shüütah Mah) of Burlington, VT; his brother Ernie Baylor (Joyce); his grandchildren, Isaiah, Deja, Justin, Josh, Christian and Angelo; and his great grandchild Jace. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (400 E Simpson St, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
