He is survived by: his parents, Lillian Mae (Carney) and Roy Jacob Byers; his wife Carolyn Bailey; his daughter Sharon (Cheri); his sister Joann Covalt; his sister-in-law Kathryn McDonald; his daughter Cheri Byers; his grandchildren, Justin Henke, Adrienne Fitzgerald (Sean) and Alexander Henke; his great grandchildren, Cosette Fitzgerald, John Fitzgerald and Eli Henke; his siblings, Wanda Mae Byers, George Leroy Byers and Robert "Eugene" Byers; and also Benshoff Hill.
