He was predeceased by: his parent John H. Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Emma Utermahlen (Freberthauser); his sons, Greg Utermahlen (Tracey) of Dover and John H. Utermahlen, III; his significant other Trudy Zepp of Hanover; and also, David Utermahlen (Pamela) of Hanover and Aaron Utermahlen (Allison) of Hanover. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
