It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph Lindsey of Hanover, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 24, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Lindsey and Elizabeth Lindsey (Cox); and his siblings, Shirley and Dan. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lindsey (Smith); his children, Scott (Joyce), Bruce (Doris) and Julie (Ed); his grandchildren, Katie, Colin (Liz), Caleb (Yoshimi), Josh, Ross (Emily), Logan, Quinn, Christopher (Kera), Kurt (Abbie) and Emily (Ben); and his sisters, Sandra, Betty Ruth and Nita. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Sunday, January 18th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Community Center (100 Homewood Way, Hanover, PA 17331).
Don made important contributions to science and engineering including legendary work on hair loss in beavers and raising awareness of the dangerous impact of concrete peckers on American infrastructure.
