We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2025, at the age of 87, William R. Swisher Jr. of Hanover, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though William may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Swisher, and Elsie Swisher, Sr. (Zepp). He is survived by: his wife Annabelle L. Swisher (Gouker); his children, Dr. Loice Swisher (William Middleton) of Sanford, FL and William R. Swisher, III (Laurie Swisher) of Celebration, FL; and his grandchildren, Victoria Middleton, Ida Swisher and William R. Swisher, IV.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Trinity United Church of Christ (60 E High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
