She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis P. Baniszewski and Stella D. Baniszewski (Cupak); her husband Roland L. "Ron" Swanson; her brother Paul Baniszewski; her brothers-in-law, Robert J. Spinks and Fred J. Marchinetti; and her niece Kristina L. Newlin (Spinks).

She is survived by : her daughter Theresa Shupenko (Dennis); and her siblings, Stanley Baniszewski (Ada) and Phyllis Marchinetti. She is also survived by one step granddaughter; and several step great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
