It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph J. Sykes (Harleysville, Pennsylvania), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sykes and Anna Sykes (Kurpiak); and his sister Veronica Glackin. He is survived by: his wife Anita Sykes (Rose); and his children, Christine Harubin (Peter), Sandra Fisher (Paul), Kenneth Sykes (Ellen), Michael Sykes (Regina) and Eric Sykes. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Due to the current Covid 19 health crisis, a private viewing and service for Joseph will be held on Friday, May 8, with interment in George Washington Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 69 W. Broad Street, Souderton, PA 18964.
