She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Akers and Lorena Akers; and her daughter Hope Mangum. She is survived by: her spouse Glyn Mangum; her sons, Doug Mangum (Patti) and Todd Mangum (Linda); and her sister Jeanne Carter (Wayne). She is also survived by six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
