We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2021, at the age of 65, Bruce Edward Matthews of Harmony, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce Edward Matthews to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert F. Matthews and Virginia Malanowski Matthews. He is survived by: his children, Brandon E. Matthews (Jenna Hoehn) and Jessica L. Kennedy (Victor); his grandchildren, Kaia and Eli Kennedy; his brothers, Mark Matthews (Anita) and David Matthews (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Melissa Pindroh (Gerry) and Steve Keener (Kyle). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, several extended family members, and friends.
Due to the holiday and covid concerns, no services will be held but a celebration of Bruce's life will be held at a later date, to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, a fund will be set up in Bruce's memory by his family on GoFundMe and will be used to send the nurses and staff at Butler Memorial Hospital a catered lunch to show their immense gratitude for their hard work and support.
