It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Adolphus Weems Jr. (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Adolphus may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus Weems, Sr. and Katie Weems (Johnson); his son Corey M. Weems; and his brother Stephen L. Weems. He is survived by: his children, Valerie Regina Buxton Punch (Kerwin) and Adolphus Weems III (Kristine); and his siblings, James W. Weems Sr. (Linda), Nathaniel Weems, Sr. (late Victoria), Regina Alridge, Valerie A. Brown (Garnell) and Malcom Weems. He is also survived by two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wallace Funeral Directors Inc. (106 Agnes St, Harrisburg, PA 17104).
