He was predeceased by: his parent Ernesto Alverio. He is survived by: his parent Amada Alverio; his wife Alice Ann Rivera (Rudy); his children, Brenda Rivera Alverio, Hector M. Rivera and Brian Rivera; his stepchildren, Jamie Brady, Teresa Bowman and Michael Putman; and his siblings, Carmen L. Pinto Alverio, Margarita Ruiz Alverio, Miguel Ruiz Alverio, Margarita Rivera Alverio, Andrea Rivera Alverio and Gloria Rivera Alverio. He is also survived by five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
