He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Shapiro and Judith Shapiro (Gabelman); and his sister Janet Pavlovic. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Shapiro (Smith) of Harrisburg; his children, Adrian Shapiro and Kimberly Shapiro; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Alves; his brother Michael Shapiro; and his grandson Dylan Shapiro.
