He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Bodnyk (Shankweiler); his children, Johanna Bodnyk, Catherine Bodnyk and Lucas Bodnyk; his friend Deborah Battisti (Mary Jane Wertz); and his siblings, Michael Bodnyk (Sandra), Ann Bodnyk (David Dare), Dorothy Wesley (Bodnyk) and Elizabeth Shrawder (Bodnyk).
