He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert M. Duncan and Iona Bates-Duncan; his children, Debbie Everette, Char Shay Harper, Vanessa Duncan, Olujimi Duncan, Helen Duncan and Charles M. "Marty" Duncan (Charlie); and his siblings, George Haskins, Jr., Robert Melvyn Duncan, Sr., Queen Elizabeth Duncan-Haskins and Geneva Duncan-Woods.
He is survived by: his wife Gaila L. Duncan; his children, Candis Harper (David), Rev. Martha Brown, Stephanie Turner, Marquita Jones (James), Michelle Belle (Shelly), Khadija Duncan, Syeetta Harper, Travis Fleming, Robert "Bobby" Stewart (Nikole "China"), Gibron Wampler, Diallo Sekou "Mort" Duncan, Keyattha Duncan, Ayinda Harper, Ayodi Harper, Rev. Roberta M. Duncan-Thompson, Dr. Otis Martin, Andrea Carter, Rory Danielle Gordon, Tyron Hodges, Felicia Roy (Michael), Herman Duncan, Jerry Duncan (Tammy) and Trena Jackson; his mother-in-law Faye E. Carter; his siblings-in-law, Anna Duncan of Sarasota, Janice Childs of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Margaret Carrier (Terry) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Anna Carey (Harry) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Thomas C. and John T. Carter; his daughter-in-law Angela Duncan of Fort Mitchell, Alabama; his godchildren, Calvin McKinney (Crystal) and Josè Espolà; and his friend John Coniglio. He is also survived by many other nephews, nieces, cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Steelton (1850 S 19th St, Harrisburg, PA 17104). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
