He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bernice Ann Bruno; his children, Bobbie Lou Sweeney, Toni Marie Petroski (Brian), Holly Worful and Eugene Ellenberger; his siblings, Fred Bruno (Shirley) and Mary Lou Purvis (Jack); his grandchildren, Chris, Ryan Sweeney, Weston Petroski, Maria Druckman (Charles), Jared Worful (Matthew Meisel) and Emille Ellenberger; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Sweeney, Julian Druckman and Evanee Ellenberger.
