He was predeceased by: his parent Zubber Carter. He is survived by: his parent Julia Carter; his daughter Termaine Thompson; his stepson Marco Thompson (Margie Carter Thompson); his siblings, Dean Carter and Lola Staples; his sister-in-law Irene Carter; and his siblings' children, Raasheed Carter, Jamal Carter, Kesi Carter and Nicole Carter. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, grandchildren.
