He was predeceased by: his parent Norman Franklin; and his siblings, John Savage, Charlotte Lightner, Ruth Brenner, Florence Stefango and Kathy Savage.
He is survived by: his parent Charlotte Savage (Nicholson); his wife Catherine "Kay" Savage (Sharer); his children, Thomas of Harrisburg and Nancy Dzura (Ted) of Pittsburgh; and his grandchildren, Steven Savage, Rebekah Smith (Brian) and Brett Dzura. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
