He was predeceased by: his parent Edward Tadych; and his siblings, Beatrice Johnson, John Tadych, Leon Tadych, Mary Scott and Donald Tadych.
He is survived by: his parent Carrie Snyder Tadych; his children, Patti Schneider (Mike) of Harrisburg and James D. Tadych, Jr.; his siblings, Helen John (Carl) of Harrisburg, Catherine Rhone of Oberlin and Edmond Tadych of Chambersburg; his granddaughters, Michelle O'Neal (Kenny) and Stefanie Schneider; and his great grandchild Michaelyn Schneider.
