He was predeceased by: his parent Carol W. Courts Thomas; his sister Shelly Burden; his father James J. Thorpe, Sr.; his stepmother Esther Thorpe of Upper Chichester, PA; his siblings, Bethany Moses of Harrisburg and Todd Small of Atlanta, GA; and his aunt Debra Thorpe.
