He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Daniels Sr. and Martina Williams Daniels; his grandson Lawrence Daniels; and his siblings, Dotch Grisby, Raymond Taylor, Robert Daniels, Bertha Taylor and Barbara Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Daniels; his children, Karen Daniels and John Daniels; his grandchildren, Keisean Neely and Shakur Neely; and his friends, Rose Adams and Ellis Eiland. He is also survived by nephews who were there whenever needed, Warren Taylor, William Daniels, Martin Taylor, Dwight Taylor; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
