He was predeceased by: his parents, Bishop John W. and Mary A. Easton (Britton); his spouse Shirley Inez Jackson of Washington; his granddaughters, Ashleigh Curtis and Lynette Lane; and his siblings, Larry, William, Cecil Easton and Juanita Vaughan.
He is survived by: his nephew Andre; his daughter Mary Alicia Curtis (Mark) of Waldorf, Maryland; his grandchildren, Tamra Page, John Easton (Alycia) of Carlisle, Purcelle Lane II, Ayanna Curtis of Waldorf, Mark Curtis Jr. of Alexandria, Virginia and Quierra Curtis of New Braunfels, Texas; his great grandchildren, Nahsaan, HeavenLee, Kamari, Baron, Isaiah, Kehlani, Alexander and Amari; his siblings, Mary E. Powell (Fred), Elaine Easton, Lynette Brooks, Joyce Jenkins (Aree Ben Zion), Arleen Bonheur, Melvin Easton Sr. of Harrisburg and Isaiah Easton Sr. (Maria) of Stockbridge, Georgia.; and his aunt Patricia English (Aunt Shirley). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
