She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Holton Sr. and Geneva Brown; her sibling Becky Brown; and her niece Carmen Rene Holton. She is survived by: her stepparent Arlene Holton; her sibling Marie Holton; her children, Kevin Lamont and James Albert Thurman; her aunt Bey; and her sibling's children, Brian Holton, Jehan Forsythe, Bianca Cook, Kersten Forsythe, Michael, Justin, Julian and Giuliana.
