He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Vázquez and Herminia Vazquez; his daughter Carmen Luisa Vázquez Westenberger; his siblings, Aurea Vázquez Ramos, Gloria Maria Vázquez, Juan Jose Vázquez and Juan Francisco Vázquez; and his former wife Antonia.
He is survived by: his children, George Vázquez of Mechanicsburg, Jose Vázquez of California, Luis Vázquez, Jr. of Harrisburg, Ruben Vázquez of Harrisburg and Gloria Vázquez Merrick of Harrisburg; and his siblings, Lourdes Vázquez, Blanca Vázquez, Maria Del Carmen Vázquez and Rafy Vázquez. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
