She was predeceased by: her husband Keith Whiting; and her brother David Dudley Beers, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Mary Louise Egan (Beers) of New Milford, CT, Barbara Walberg (Beers) of New Milford, CT and William B. Beers of Condon, MT.; her children, Bruce Whiting (Jacqueline), Gary Whiting (Kelly), Kent Whiting (Christine Sanchez) of Philadelphia, PA and Susan Whiting (Henry); her grandchildren, Ross (Ashley), Ryan (Ashley), Evan (Rachel), Hilary, Brooks, Chad (Elyse), Christopher, Morgan and Wyatt; and her great grandchildren, Charlie, Finnley, Ellie and Maxwell.
