Mildred Powell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Powell of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, born in Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on June 30, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Smith and Marie M. Smith (Havermale); her husband Alvey L. Powell, Jr.; her son Alvey L. Powell, III; and her brothers, Roger and Homer Smith.
She is survived by : her daughters, Sandra K. Bock (Robert) of Lancaster, Donna J. Johnson (Barry) of Chambersburg and Barbara S. Maclay of Harrisburg; her siblings, Mary Fletcher of Henrietta, NY, Charlie Smith (Judy) of Lake Placid, FL and David Smith (Linda) of Carmel, IN; her grandchildren, Nikol Turner, Laura Brown, Tyler Powell, Brandon Powell, Andrew Laban and Adam Johnson; her great grandchildren, Abbie Kelly, Carleigh Laban, Koen Powell and Mason Brown; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jack, Ryan Turner, Angela, Alex and Aden Puchalo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Those in attendance are required to observe the recommendations pertaining to reducing the potential spread of Covid-19; wearing masks, hand sanitizing, and social distancing as much as is possible.
