Rhoda Howard Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhoda Howard (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, McDaniel Howard and Rene C. "Miss Rene" Purdy. She is survived by: her siblings, Lenette Y. Purdy Brown, Romaine E Purdy, Denise L Purdy, McDaniel Purdy Sr., Roy Purdy and Vernon Purdy; her niece Natisha Thompson; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tishauna Thompson, Leo McDonald, Lequan McDonald, Denali Thompson, Jonisha Thompson and Jyree Bellamy; her nieces and nephews, Marcus, Shawna, Edward, Ross, Robert, Chris, Julian, McDaniel, Bridgette and Morgan; and her friends, Tammy, Needie, Wanda, Roni and Shyanne. She is also survived by great great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baptist Fellowship Church (3985 N 2nd St, Harrisburg, PA 17110). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rhoda to the American Cancer Society, 3211 N. Front Street, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
