We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2025, at the age of 84, Stanley R. Lawson (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Lawson, Sr. and Catherine E. Slaughter Lawson; and his siblings, Richard, Ronald Lawson and Caroline Mills.
He is survived by: his brothers, James W. Lawson, Jr. and Gary Lawson; his sons, Stanley R. Lawson, Jr. and Richard H. Lawson; his sister-in-law Tiffany C. Lawson; and his grandchildren, Stanley I. Lawson and Kaitlyn Lawson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Spirit Filled Missionary Baptist Church (2609 Locust Ln, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at the William Howard Day Cemetery (801 Lincoln St, Steelton, PA 17113).
