He was predeceased by: his father Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Cindy M. Hamel (Kurutza); his son Corey J. Hamel (Ashley R. Malone) of Canaan, NH; his grandson Malikai Carl Hamel; his father Stephen A. Hamel III; his stepmother Dee Hamel; his nieces, Michelle Perley of Wilder, VT and Vyasa Hiltunen; his daughter Isabelle of Canaan, NH; his brother-in-law Seth Companion (Marie Kurutza); his sibling's children, Camden of Nolan, Ala and Silas of Mechanicsburg, PA; and his sister-in-law Pamela Kurutza of Barre, VT. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces, nephews and lifetime friends.
