It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Stewart-Cook of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 28, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Patricia Ann Stewart (Johnson) and Elis Eiland; her husband Charles M. Cook; her brother Freddie L. Stewart; her children, Claudette Stewart, Delvin R. Buie Sr., Keenan L. Buie and Charles M. Cook Jr.; her siblings, Michelle Eiland, Joey Fry, Tammy Fry, Elis Rankin, Emma Eiland, Otis Eiland and Bessie Eiland; her grandchildren, Daquan Buie, Delvin Buie Jr., Royce Chase, Ry'lee Chase, Dai'ani Buie, Dior Buie, Darye Buie, Akayla Baltimore, Ariah Buie, Lameek Baker, Nasir Baker and Carter Knight-Cook; and her great grandchild Zaahir Baker. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Matinchek Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (260 E Main St, Middletown, PA 17057). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the William Howard Day Cemetery (801 Lincoln St, Steelton, PA 17113).
