He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Fortney, Sr. and Maude Kovach; and his wife Janet M. Fortney (Breon). He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl A. Templin Snyder of Rutherford Heights, PA. and Nancy J. (Howard Jerome Brown) of Harrisburg, PA.; his sister Frances Swauger of Millerstown, PA.; and his sister-in-law Loretta Breon.
