It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yvonne P. Jones (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania), who passed away on July 3, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Dianne Bissoon and Edmund Roberts (Victor Morris); and her siblings' child Hansley Scott. She is survived by: her husband James; her daughters, Juliet Jones-Robinson (Thomas Robinson, III) and Lakisha Jones (Alan Rawlings); her grandchildren, Maliek A. Rawlings, Arielle E. Justiniano (Jeremy Justiniano), Justin A. Rawlings and Juleon N. Jones; her siblings, Ann Whiteman (John), Lynn Stevenson (Burnie) and Fitzroy Morris (Harold Clark); her nephew Edmund Williams; her siblings' children, Lisa Early (Aries) and Alan Whiteman (Kerry); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tameka Hughes, Shama Stevenson, Cherese Bracey (Taji), Andrey Morris, Lorrenza Suarez and Melanie Malave'; and also, Shawn Whiteman (Zipporah), Naariyah Nixon (Issac) and Sandra Suarez.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 12:30 PM at the Calendar Hooper Memorial Home Inc. (3532 Walnut St, Harrisburg, PA 17109). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Shoop's Cemetery (4450 Locust Ln, Harrisburg, PA 17109).
