He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Christner and Anna Jane Christner (Trout). He is survived by: his wife Janet Cartwright-Christner (Ergan); his children, Charles Christner III (Lauren) and Kayla Christner; his stepchildren, Marc Cartwright (Alejandra) and Autumn Myer (James Kudrna); and his siblings, Paul E. Jacobs (Pat) and Linda Koshar (late Edward). He is also survived by grandsons and a granddaughter.
