He was predeceased by: his stepchild Donald L. Ireland, Jr.; and his sibling Judy DiPaolo. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Clare Ireland O'Malley and Brenda Ireland; his grandchild Ian O'Malley; and his siblings, John R. Spencer (Martha) and Joan Spencer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
