John Beltz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Beltz of Hazleton, Pennsylvania, born in West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 25, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Beltz and Ivy Beltz (Frantz); his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Makuta; his daughter Barbara Carper; his son-in-law Jerry Carper; and his siblings, Jewell, Robert Beltz and Janice Wanick.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Karmondy (Ken) of Jackson, NJ; his granddaughters, Melissa Stevens (Brad) of Jackson, NJ and Jennifer Aretino of Howell, NJ; his great grandchildren, Olivia Aretino, Shaylin Stevens, Spencer Aretino and Greyson Stevens; and his siblings, LaReda Hartzell of Allentown and Richard Beltz (Virginia) of Hatfield, PA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
