He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Rizzo and Vita Maria Rizzo (Cianci); his wife Julia Rizzo (Tenore); his granddaughter Charna Parkes; his close friend Thelma Doll; his children, Michele of LaPorte, IN and Paul (Karen) of Montague, NJ; his grandsons, Joseph and Mark Rizzo; and his great grandchildren, Jacob, Julianna and Connor. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
