She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Matthew Nuss and Elizabeth Gellock Nuss; her husband John H. Rooks; her grandson John Rooks; and her brothers, William Kowalchuk, Sr. and Ronald Kowlachuk.
She is survived by: her children, John Rooks (Denise), Tim Rooks (Sharon), Chris Rooks (Maria) and Sherri Schmidt (Thomas); her grandchildren, Michael Spence, Derek Spence, Kyle Spence, Jeffrey Rooks, Caroline Schmidt, Nancea Rooks, Baylee Rooks, Zachary Rooks, Mackenzie Rooks, Alexander Rooks and Cayden Rooks; and her siblings, Carol Corson and Robert Nuss. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
