He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta P. Long (Pendrak); and his parents, Clarence E. Long, Sr. and Catherine Long (Smith). He is survived by: his children, James E. Long (Marilyn) of Hellertown and Elizabeth "Betsy" Peffer of Hellertown; his sister Anna Mae Long Mathios (John) of New Jersey; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Amanda, Allison, Pete Long and Jamie Grace (William).
