He was predeceased by: his wife Irene M. Hartman (Balik); his parents, Jonas Hartman and Marie Hartman (Schmidt); and his brothers, Gerald, Bernard and Richard Hartman.
He is survived by: his children, John J. (Nancy) of Pinehurst, NC, James J. (Janet A.) of Pevensey Bay, England, Martin D. (Debra A.) of Bethlehem Twp, Damian G. (Kathleen) of Allentown and Donene E. Holland (Kevin) of Hellertown; his grandchildren, Jared P., Aubrey L., Rachel S., Quinn A., Brett A. and Eric L.; and his great grandchild Abigail.
